Fertility Preservation and Oncofertility
Getting cancer does not mean that one cannot be able to conceive. Oncofertility involves oncologists and fertility doctors in order to maintain fertility prior to treatment. This session will focus on egg, embryo and ovarian tissue cryopreservation, fertility-preserving surgery, and referrals, and will discuss the emotional and ethical considerations involved. The speakers will stress the importance of initiating discussion between oncologists and fertility doctors.
