Ultrasound in Early Pregnancy and Ectopic Pregnancy
Pregnancy in its initial stages is fraught with anxiety, bleeding, and discomfort, and timely ultrasound can make all the difference. This seminar will be focused on the role of ultrasound for confirmation of a viable pregnancy, diagnosis of early pregnancy loss, and detection of ectopic pregnancy before the onset of a medical emergency. Experts will talk about how to interpret ultrasound results in relation to hormones, how to manage a pregnancy of an unknown location, and how to reassure women by providing them with reliable information.
